Unpolished Pen: The best part of this week's solo reservoir runs, made possible by the return of the school year, was seeing my all-time favorite track coaches there, one on Tuesday and the other yesterday, pouring themselves into yet another generation of high school runners. As I ran, I listened to Pandora's "90s Alternative" station and marveled at the fact that those cross-country kids weren't even born when I went off to college. I hope the Pinecrest and Union Pines XC teams know how lucky they are to have coaches Moody and Carter, respectively, at the helm. #livinglegends #glorydays
